USAID-HealthIT has been supporting the National Aids and STI Control Programme (NASCOP) in the enhancement,
upgrade, and management of the 12 National laboratories system used in the testing of Early Infant Diagnosis and Viral Load
(EID/VL) samples. All 12 laboratory systems are currently sending data to the NASCOP data center and synced with the
national EID/VL dashboard. This ensures that the data being displayed on the dashboard is up to date. The EID/VL lab
system is critical in attaining the PEPFAR 95/95/95 goal by 2025 which aims to have tested 95% of people living with HIV
knowing their status,95% of people knowing their status on treatment and 95% of people on treatment with suppressed viral
load. Our scope of work includes:
Electronic Patient file/ records
Sample processing and results relay
Results relay
Data aggregation to NASCOP data center
Dashboard review and analysis
NASCOP data center support and maintenance (internet, cooling, power maintenance)
