CAPACITY BUILDING AND INSTITUTIONAL LEARNING

HealthIT’s Capacity Building drives sub-purpose 2 of the project which is to ‘Improve institutional capacity of national and county Ministry of Health (MOH) on use of health systems, data quality capture and reporting.
Capacity Building supports development, enhancement, updating and continued usage of Health Information Systems (HISs) and Child Protection Information Management System (CPIMS).

Capacity Building ensures that users of HISs and CPIMS have the competencies to drive accurate and timely data capturing, program monitoring, reporting and decision making.
Capacity Building is also critical in ensuring technical users especially MOH and Department of Children Services (DCS) staff at National and County levels are able to sustain development, usage and continued upgrading of HISs and CPIMSs.
